About Bon Viveur boats Bon Viveur boats has been specifically designed for French cruising conditions and built for the syndicates by Classic Boat Builders on the basis of their 15 years of experience and with the more discerning, mature clients in mind who will appreciate her exceptionally high level of comfort and spaciousness and her impressive ease of handling—even in the hands of a complete novice. The BV boats have two bases. In the summer they are based at St Jean de Losne, at the junction of the Canal de Bourgogne and the River Saône: see its location. For the rest of the year they are based at Marseillan, at the eastern end of the Canal du Midi and at the western end of one of the étangs (lakes) that stretch across to the mouth of the River Rhône: see its location.
